Snowboarding

It had been 2.5 years since I last went snowboarding, but today I finally gave myself a kick and hit the slopes! After a few runs on what was pretty much pure ice, I gave up on my Kemper snowboard from the 1990s and rented one that actually had edges. From then on things went a little better for me.

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of SDC and me grabbing some air - blame it on the fog. Or on the fact that we're too old to grab any air. Or both :)

After our short lunch break the weather cleared up a bit, but by 3pm we couldn't see where we were going anymore, so we called it quits. I wouldn't have been able to go on much longer anyway, so the timing was just right.
